Located at the edge of Sheffield, Wortley is a private golf club that hosts a welcoming yet challenging par 68 course. The golf course is situated far from busy roads and provides a peaceful golf experience. The course has a sizable practice ground and a well-kept short-game area.
The club has various membership options ranging from Full 7-day to Flexible and Social. The Women’s section currently has over 30 full-playing members but is always looking to grow. For those looking to compete, the Ladies’ section hosts multiple away and exchange days and competes against other clubs in matchplay leagues.
With two PGA Professionals and one Mental Performance Coach on site, there are plenty of options for those wanting to advance their skills and knowledge of the game (Lessons available to public/ non-members). The Pro Shop run by head professional Richard Crawshaw provides Women’s golf clothing and a range of equipment that is available to demo.
